Choosing a camera bag
Which AmyRetro bags can carry a real camera?
- Heritage Camera Bag: Small fits an entry-level DSLR with 1 lens, Medium a DSLR with 2 lenses, Large a DSLR with up to 3 lenses.
- Montclair Crossbody Bag: one DSLR or mirrorless camera with its lens attached.
- Petite Snapshot Bag: compact cameras and small mirrorless bodies.
- Voyager Camera Bag (backpack): a camera and lenses plus your things for the day.
- Oxford Messenger Bag: a compact camera fits, but there is no padded camera insert.
- Amy Signature Bag: a fashion bag shaped like a vintage camera. It is sized for your phone and small essentials, not for carrying a camera.
How do I know my camera will fit?
Each product page lists the bag's outer dimensions and the kind of setup it is made for. Cameras and lenses vary a lot in size, so if you're not sure, send us your camera and lens model and we'll help you choose before you order.
Are your bags shockproof or waterproof?
No. Our camera bags are soft bags for everyday carry, not hard cases, and they are not rated as shockproof or waterproof. Bags with a padded insert or dividers help keep your gear from knocking together, but they are not made to protect against drops, heavy impact or heavy rain.
Do the bags come with a camera?
No. Cameras, lenses and other gear shown in our photos are for styling and size reference only.
What are the bags made of?
Our camera bags are made from vegan PU leather or washed canvas, depending on the style. The Heirloom Card Pouch is made from cowhide leather. Full details are on each product page.
Orders & shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the United States and the United Kingdom, with free tracked delivery on all orders.
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days after payment is confirmed.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated delivery after dispatch is 4–12 working days for the United States and 7–15 working days for the United Kingdom. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes. We email tracking information when your order ships. Tracking can take 3–5 working days to show movement. Visit our Track Order page for help.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order. We may not be able to make changes once an order is processed or dispatched.
Are duties or import taxes included?
Any applicable import charges are the customer's responsibility, as described in our Shipping Policy.
Returns & support
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return request period from delivery for eligible unused items in their original packaging. For a change-of-mind return, the return postage is paid by the customer. See our Refund Policy for details.
What if my bag arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery, including photos of the item and packaging. We'll help arrange a replacement or refund according to our Refund Policy.
